April 8: Total Eclipse
México is experiencing yet another eclipse on April 8 at 11 am! Visibility in Yucatán will be around 50%; plan a good spot to enjoy it (tree leaves create spectacular shadows) and remember to take care of your eyes.

April 11: Baseball season starts
Baseball season starts April 11! The king of sport truly rules Yucatán, and our local team, Leones de Yucatán, will be roaring in Kanasín. Make plans to see them play! The sport, the atmosphere, and the food will surely make for a great time.

The Chumayel Town Fair is Here: April 28
One of the best traditional village celebrations you can visit takes place in Chumayel, known as the birthplace of Jaranara dancers, and its two Vaquerías (traditional dances) prove it. The Children's Day is here!: April 30
México celebrates kids on April 30. If you’re here with your little ones, check out our article on indoor activities with children for air-conditioned options.
