Imagine a sky full of stars, a balmy evening at the foot of the pyramids and buildings built by a fantastic culture, lasting for centuries, which still surprises us to this day. All this is yours to experience in Chichén Itzá, at Noches de Kukulkán, an audiovisual presentation that describes Maya cosmogony, their particular vision about the origin of the planet and of humanity, as well as the history of this place which is one of the New 7 Wonders of the World.

Let yourself be swept away by a show that will excite you from beginning to end, with your eyes always wide open, whether you take the night tour or watch the illuminated projections of images on the El Castillo pyramid, dedicated to the god Kukulkán. You must be asking, how do I go? Here we explain step by step what you have to do to experience this event.

1.Visit the site www.nochesdekukulkan.com and go to the “Compra tus boletos” section.
2. Select your preferred date and the amount of tickets you wish to purchase. Entrance fee: $510 pesos from Tuesday to  Sunday.
3. Print the email with the confirmation.

With your ticket you can also take the 45 minute-long night tour before the audiovisual projection, although it is not always available due to maintenance. Ask for headphones to listen in various languages. See the ball game buildings, the platform of eagles and jaguars, the Castillo, Templo de los Guerreros, and the Plaza de las Mil Columnas with their night illumination. Afterwards you can go find your seat for the show; at this time it is only given in English and Spanish.

Wear comfortable shoes and bring water. You can take photographs, but if you have any special equipment you will need to pay a fee. You cannot use flash during the show. Enjoy the experience, and let us know what you think!
