Sorbetería El Colón
The famous sorbetes of the city of Mérida, which have been with us since 1907. The sorbets, as well as the champolas and sweets, have sweetened the palates of Yucatecans and visitors for 110 years. Go to one of their branches and ask for the flavor you like best. Among the most famous are mantecado, crema morisca, coconut and mango. If you have more of a craving try a pionono.
Delicious!

Polito Ice Cream
Another place that has refreshed the palates of many families since 1910 is Helados Polito. It has been managed by the same family since its inauguration, did you know? They are also the ones who invented the delicious marquesita.
A flavor of ice cream you can't miss is coconut: rich and 100% natural.

La Principal
Founded in 1950, it began with the famous "ice cream cart" that went through the streets of Mérida. They specialize in water-based ice cream and seasonal fruits, so you can find flavors such as guanabana, lime, pitahaya, among others. Since the 1980's you can visit them at the Calle 65 x 66 location. As a "tip" they offer services for events, so if you are planning your wedding, think about a refreshing dessert.

Pola Gelato Shop
A new proposal that offers a unique variety of products. On their menu you will find flavors that remind you of Yucatecan traditions, such as, for example, bean and pork ice cream (which, of course, you can only eat on Mondays, just like the dish of the same name). Another delicious flavor is marquesita, although of course you will also find traditional and regional flavors. Are you ready to venture into new flavors?
