On May 28 at 7 pm, head to the Museo Palacio Cantón for the talk Cacao in Archaeological Contexts of the Yucatán Peninsula, part of the activity program for the exhibition Ek Chuah. Trade Among the Maya.

Led by archaeologist Cristian Alonso Hernández González, the talk explores how cacao was cultivated, used, and reinterpreted by the Maya as a key element of their worldview and connection to the land.
