With very mixed emotions I’m writing my last letter as Editorial Director of Yucatán Today. I’m leaving the magazine after 11 years, to pursue my dream of opening a bookstore here in Mérida. I’m excited...but it is a very difficult goodbye. Yucatán Today has been my home away from home. Thanks Andrea and Judy for inviting me aboard; it has been my honor and my pleasure to contribute my small part to the continued evolution of the magazine. I am proud to have worked alongside such a great team of dedicated co-workers. Our contributing writers delight me with their passion for excellence. To my family of advertisers: without you, there would be no magazine! It’s been a pleasure knowing you and working with you. And finally, dear reader, you are the reason we do what we do every day. Thank you for reading these pages and telling us how much you love our work. Maggie Rosado will be taking on the role of Editor; you’ll love her editorial touch. Goodbye for now...and keep on reading!
