The last few months have been long and exhausting; however, our state can finally begin to reopen. I think that many of us have mixed feelings about this: we’re of course excited to live somewhat “normal” lives, but we’re also extremely nervous as most of us have had family or friends that have been in poor health this year. But if we Mexicans have one trait, it’s the ability to always look on the bright side of things. This has always been key to our culture and during the month of our independence, rather than lament the injustices that our nation faces, we celebrate the fact that we live in one of the most beautiful countries in the world. We’re so excited to receive visitors once again. If you decide to travel at this time, please do so responsibly and follow all the measures that have been put in place to keep you, your loved ones, and our front-line workers healthy. We hope to see you very soon.
