Xa' Anil Naj: Learning About the Maya House and Language

This October 10 at 11 am, bring the little ones to the Gran Museo del Mundo Maya for Xa' Anil Naj: Learning About the Maya House and Language, a children’s workshop.

At the Mejen Paalal Creative Space, children will listen to stories about the traditional huano-palm house in both Maya and Spanish, while learning the Maya names for its different parts.

To wrap up the experience, they’ll create their own pop-up book, exploring the deeper meanings of this traditional home through a fun, hands-on activity. The workshop is part of the National Maize Day celebrations.
