From August 20 to September 28, visit the temporary exhibition “Women’s Perspectives: Material Culture and Representations of Latin America and the Caribbean” at Biblioteca Yucatanense.
Through a variety of materials and artistic expressions, the exhibition explores the role of women as transmitters of knowledge, ideas, and cultural expressions throughout history.
As part of the opening, on August 20 at 11 am, there will be a reading of Tu k'óoben un chiich (In My Grandmother’s Kitchen), followed by the performance “Cortar Anclas (Danzas para la Purificación). Lucrecia, la mujer de la Tina”.
The exhibition is open Monday through Friday, from 8 am to 6 pm.
