From January 27 to 31, don’t miss Week of Art Yucatán (WAY), the state’s art week. This initiative, driven by artists, cultural managers, and promoters of Yucatán’s art scene, aims to strengthen the local creative ecosystem and encourage exchange between spaces, projects, and audiences.
The program brings together galleries, independent spaces, exhibitions, and projects in various formats, along with talks, music, film screenings, performances, and gatherings designed for both specialized audiences and newcomers to contemporary art. The invitation is simple: explore, discover, and inhabit these spaces.
The main venue will be Salón Gallos, where talks, screenings, exhibitions, and the closing party will take place. Additional exhibitions will be hosted at Nepantla and Plantel Matilde. Participating galleries include 54 Gallery, Centro Cultural Hartii, Galería Secreta, La Cúpula, and many more.
The general pass for the full week costs $1,400 pesos, with a student rate of $650 pesos.
The gallery tour, taking place on January 31, costs $800 pesos general admission and $450 pesos for students.
