As part of International Embroidery Day and the seventh anniversary of the reading room Ts’íibil t’aan. Palabra escrita at Gran Museo del Mundo Maya, a special dialogue will take place on July 30 at 10 am.
Embroiderers, researchers, and cultural mediators will come together to share insights on the role of the serpent in Maya culture and its connection to regional embroidery traditions. Participants include Mayra Chi, Lupita Aké, Silvia Terán, and Carlos Evia.
