The 2025 Parade of the Souls

On October 31, from 6 to 11 pm, don’t miss one of the most anticipated moments of the Festival of the Souls: the 2025 Parade of the Souls. Over 500 participants dressed as souls will walk through the historic center in a moving and mystical procession. Along the way, you’ll find altars on display, candle-lit spots at San Juan Park, photo sets, and a grand vaquería (traditional Yucatecan dance) to close the night with vibrant energy.
The procession starts at 8 pm from the General Cemetery, and several downtown streets will be closed (from Calle 71 to the cemetery, Calle 64 with 75, Calle 66 with 77, and Calle 69 with 64, south to north), so make sure to plan your visit ahead of time.
