This October 11 at 11 am, bring the little ones to the Gran Museo del Mundo Maya for Óoxkúul: La milpa y sus sembrados (The Milpa and Its Crops), a children’s workshop.
At the Mejen Paalal Creative Space, children will discover how the milpa farming system works and learn about harvesting three of its main crops: corn, beans, and squash.
To wrap up the activity, they’ll get creative by making a pop-up card that brings the milpa to life with a touch of magic.
It’s a fun opportunity to learn, create, and explore a tradition central to Maya culture! Register here: visitas@granmuseodelmundomaya.com.mx
