Don’t miss the new exhibition at Museo de la Ciudad de Mérida: “First Fire: A Ceramics Showcase from La Arrocera, Campeche”, featuring works by contemporary artists connected to this creative hub in southeastern México.
The exhibition includes pieces by Gaspar Chan Poter, Darwin Coox, Deisy Sánchez, Rosalba Pedroza, Iván Zolano, Josué Martín Uribe, Luciano Sosa, Maryjose Aké Noh, and Fernando Muñoz Huicab, whose work reinterprets ceramic traditions through a contemporary lens.
Organized in collaboration with Instituto de Cultura y Artes de Campeche and FILEY-UADY, the exhibition is on view in the ground-floor lobby.
Free admission, open to all ages.
Hours: Tuesday to Friday, 9 am–6 pm; Saturday and Sunday, 9 am–2 pm.
