From January 23 to February 8, one of the year’s first major celebrations returns: the Expo Feria de Valladolid 2026, held in honor of the Virgin of Candelaria. For nearly two weeks, this Magical Town comes alive with music, dancing, traditional snacks, and—of course—plenty of tamales on February 2.
The fair will offer activities for all tastes. One of the must-see events is the traditional Candelaria Road Race, taking place on February 1 at 6:00 am.
Music lovers can enjoy regional Mexican and tropical sounds, with Super Lamas on February 2, Banda MS on February 6, and a Battle of the Bands on February 7 featuring Tony Ro, Marca LB, and Banda Consentida.
