On May 3 at 5 pm, the Cineteca at Teatro Armando Manzanero will screen the documentary Pola Weiss, offering a closer look at the work and legacy of Pola Weiss, a pioneering figure in video art and videodance in México whose story remained largely in the shadows.
Directed by Alejandra Arrieta, the film draws from diaries, videos, letters, and archival photographs to create an intimate portrait that highlights the relevance of her work and its influence on contemporary audiovisual practices. Free admission.
