Closing of the Jarana Workshop

On December 15 at 5:30 pm, in the atrium of San Sebastián Church, enjoy the special presentation “Las costumbres de mi lindo Yucatán”, performed by participants of the Jarana Workshop by SEDECULTA, held in collaboration with the Social Crime Prevention and Citizen Participation Center, as the official closing of the program.
The workshop, led by Luis Armando Burgos Domínguez, was open to the public for several months with the goal of fostering an appreciation for Yucatecan dance and supporting the preservation of the state’s traditional expressions. For this final presentation, participants will be accompanied by the Orquesta Jaranera del Mayab, directed by Carlos Uc Tepal.
A perfect afternoon to enjoy jarana in all its splendor. Don’t miss it.
