Cinema Queer is back in Mérida! This national film festival celebrates diversity and LGBTQ+ representation on the big screen. In its eighth edition, running from September 3 to October 31, the program will feature more than 40 films from México, Canada, Spain, France, Austria, and Sweden.
The best part? Yucatán is one of the nine host cities. From October 2 to 5, screenings will take place at Cineteca Manuel Barbachano Ponce, Centro Cultural del Mayab, the Faculty of Anthropological Sciences at UADY, and Sala Mayamax. The opening night will be on October 2 at Cineteca Manuel Barbachano Ponce with the screening of Un mundo para mí.
