On April 18 and 19, the second edition of the Festival de la Chaya takes place in the Magical Town of Tekax, celebrating one of Yucatán’s most iconic ingredients. Over the course of the weekend, visitors can explore a wide culinary offering with more than 30 exhibitors showcasing dishes made with chaya, along with cultural activities, workshops, fashion shows, and family-friendly spaces.
The festival also offers the chance to discover nearby attractions, including sites like Chacmultún and local ecotourism parks, making it a well-rounded experience beyond the food.
