Play: Bravas Muchachas

On April 22 at 10 am, Gran Museo del Mundo Maya presents Bravas Muchachas: the story is ours too, a stage production that reflects on the role of women in public and political life.
Directed by Liliana Hernández Santibáñez and performed by the Corriendo con Lobas company, the play brings to life the stories of key figures such as Rosa Torre González, Elvia Carrillo Puerto, Raquel Dzib Cicero, and Beatriz Peniche Barrera, who helped pave the way in political representation over a century ago.
A thoughtful production that bridges past and present. Free admission.
