The Toh Bird Festival, June 2025

If you’re into birds, Yucatán is a great place to see incredible species in their natural habitat. From April to November, the Toh Bird Festival takes place, offering a variety of activities to explore and enjoy the region’s rich birdlife. This June, there are several interesting events.

From June 3 to 5, there will be birdwatching focused on aquatic species at the Ría Lagartos Biosphere Reserve. On June 7, a birdwatching outing and the presentation of the book “Las aves de Mapsa” will take place at this construction company’s reforestation area, south of Mérida.

Birdwatching continues on June 8 at Parque Bepensa, and on the 13, the activity Flying Kites with Birds (Papaloteando con las aves) will also be held in town.
