Sound Environments

On June 6, the multipurpose room at Gran Museo del Mundo Maya becomes a space for deep listening with an immersive sound art experience. In collaboration with the Fonoteca Nacional, the winning works from the Sound Environments 2025 open call will be presented, bringing together contemporary pieces that explore environmental sounds and electroacoustic compositions from different regions of the country.

Screenings will take place at 6:30 and 8 pm. Free admission.
