From October 25 to November 8, Progreso celebrates the Las Ánimas del Mar Festival. To honor Janal Pixan, you’ll find Catrinas on the International Boardwalk (October 25, 8 pm), the Paseo de Ánimas from the cemetery (November 1, 7 pm), Legend Nights in the towns (October 27 – November 3, 6 pm), the Yucatecan Pan de Muerto Festival at Independence Park (November 1, 7 pm), and much more.
