Film Showcase by Women Filmmakers

On June 12 at 7 pm, the Cineteca at Teatro Armando Manzanero hosts a free short film showcase created by women filmmakers in Yucatán. Through a range of themes and styles, the films highlight the diversity, sensitivity, and creative strength of local voices.
The program includes Cremita de Coco by Martha Uc; Áaken, Soy una Tortuga (I Am a Turtle) by Alessandra Carrillo; Cómo cuidar de una planta (How to Care for a Plant) by Sandra Trinidad; Enraizarse (Taking Root) by Regina Tobón; and the premiere of Rubí’s XV by Olinka Ávila Escárzaga.
