From March 13 to 16, El Cuyo fills with wind, color, and great energy during El Cuyo Kite Fest 2026. Over four days, kitesurfing, community, and the sea come together in the emerald waters of this laid-back coastal town in Yucatán.
The festival features competitions in Twintip, Kite Foil, and Wing Foil, with challenges ranging from Big Air and High Jump to Regattas, Sprint Races, and Body Drag Races. Beyond the competition, the experience includes sunsets, parties, special events, raffles, and the official event t-shirt included with registration.
Events will take place at Casa Mate Beachfront Cabañas and El Cuyo Kite School. Early registration is available with a 30% discount until February 25, bringing the entry fee down to $1,050 pesos (regular price $1,500 pesos).
