Two Thousand Knees Cracked the Stone Slab

The gallery at the alley of Teatro Peón Contreras presents Two Thousand Knees Cracked the Stone Slab, an exhibition by Gonzalo Dávila that explores cruising in public spaces through a cultural and anthropological lens.
Through artistic research, the exhibition examines the origins of this practice, the historical conditions that have shaped it, and the forms of resistance that emerge from community spaces. It also reflects on how queer communities create codes, languages, and connections in response to their contexts.
The opening will take place on April 16 at 7 pm. The exhibition runs through June 27, 2026, and can be visited Tuesday through Saturday, from 10 am to 5 pm. Free admission.
