Check in at Hotel Rosas & Xocolate and start with a stroll down iconic Paseo de Montejo. Stop at lovely shops and museums like Quinta Montes Molina and Palacio Cantón. Don’t forget to enjoy an ice cream to beat the heat.
Head to the sublime site of Uxmal. When you’re done, cross the street and visit Choco-Story to learn all about the history of chocolate. Spend the night at Hacienda Uxmal to enjoy a relaxing night in the Yucatecan countryside.
Discover the rest of the Puuc Route: Kabah, Xlapak, Sayil, and Labná await. Don’t forget your water and energy-fueling snacks – playing Indiana Jones is hard work! After, drive back to Mérida to rest and have a bite at Hennessy’s Irish Pub, or a drink at Casa Chica.

Izamal is an incredible yellow Pueblo Mágico – and today it’s yours to discover! Must-sees include the San Antonio de Padua former convent, Galería Tres Pájaros, Hecho a Mano, and the multiple archaeological remains of the city, among them is Kinich Kakmó, one of the largest pyramids in the country.
Exploring the cenotes is on almost every visitor’s to-do list in Yucatán, and with good reason: the Peninsula is the only place on Earth where you’ll find these natural wonders. So, why no check out cenote Chihuán or Hubikú?
