What exactly does it mean to have medical insurance? ” It is an instrument in which you can count on us in your most difficult moments to be there with you and to know that you don’t have to lose any of your assets if you were to have a major medical problem.”
Having complete medical insurance in Mexico is a way of safeguarding your health here as well as in the US with a private medical insurance company where you can access the doctors and hospitals of your choice.
“You can benefit from our lifetime coverage which is given after the first year in the policy,” says Arlene. “This is a big plus for you as we cannot reject you once you are in the policy. We have another benefit which gives us an edge over our competition, in that our upper age limit to apply for insurance is 69 years. That means if you are 69 years of age or younger, you can still have medical coverage. Another benefit is no restrictions on the amount you want to be covered for. It can be without limit, or for half a million dollars if you want, or less: it is totally up to you. We also have a lifetime coverage for accidents in which we eliminate the deductible. We will cover the accident starting at approximately 70 dollars. Our medical service is one of the best Mexico has to offer and at a very reasonable cost. You can also have international coverage if you want.”
Arlene, originally from Massachusettes, met her Yucatecan husband at university in Milwaukee. They live in Merida and have three grown children. She has been involved in Apostolic church groups, and has hosted radio shows on family values. She was invited to join New York Life as an insurance representative; she took a keen interest when she saw what level of coverage her brother-in-law received from them. She understands how important medical insurance can be, and how devastating it can be if you don’t have it. She is qualified “LUTC” status, Life Underwriters Training Council, and also has her qualification in the Mexican Comisión Nacional de Seguros y Fianzas, a very strict licensing board which requires renewal every three years.
“As a financial insurance advisor, I offer bilingual service in which all of the paper work, which for some can be a real headache, will be done for you without hassle, and the commitment to be with you and to see to your medical needs.”
