Another family-friendly option is the Feria de Tekax! Plenty of good music, food, and handcrafts await from November 12 to 19. Remember, Tekax is the Yucatecan capital of adventure; enjoy an adrenaline-filled holiday!

El Buen Fin is a great opportunity to get your holiday shopping started; stores will be offering special deals November 18-21. The 21st is a federal holiday, so expect to see many people out and about on Monday.

December kicks off with the traditional Orange Fair in Oxkutzcab. You’ll see Yucatán-themed structures made using this delicious fruit. Plus, a wide variety of offerings you’ll be able to taste. Let’s head south!

Heads up! You’ll begin to come across Antorchistas (teams of devotional runners) on their way to celebrate Our Lady of Guadalupe on December 12. Be careful (and patient) on the road to avoid accidents.
