Yucatecan cuisine is known by food enthusiasts around the world for its piquant flavors and unique combinations.
But eating here isn’t only about the local food. Over the last few years, restaurants serving everything from tacos, Yucatecan cuisine or fusion cuisine, to hamburgers, have been springing up as Mérida and the surrounding area become more international. Each month, we feature a different restaurant in and around Mérida so that both residents and tourists can begin to get a taste of what’s available!
