Your first time in Yucatán

Carta de la editora - portada julio 2023Dear reader,

Welcome to a very special edition of Yucatán Today! This month, we’re bringing you a little bit of everything you need to plan your first visit to our state. You’ll find details not only on Tunich (Mérida’s annual craft fair), where you’ll find a sample of what our artisans can do, but also on how to choose your activities and destinations, shopping for souvenirs, what to expect of our traditional food, the people that make Yucatán special…Our intention in putting it together was bringing you an edition you can keep, refer to, and share in the long term. We truly hope you can enjoy it!

Letter to the editor

Just a note to say thank you as we find your magazine easy and enjoyable reading, with a good mix of topics, information, and a genuine pride in your region that comes through. We will be visiting Mérida and the Yucatán Península in July/ August before going on to Belize. Reading your journalists’ articles is good inspiration to get more from our time.

Regards,
Carl A.

Dear Carl,

Thank you so much for your lovely email! We’re a very small team and it always brightens our days to hear from readers, especially with words as kind as yours. We hope our magazine helps you get the most out of your stay, and we’d love to hear all about it afterwards!

With love from all the Yucatán Today team,

Alicia
