“Wherever you go, go with all your heart”. – Confucius

This letter is coming to you from the Director’s desk this month because I wanted to connect with all of our readers personally. Yucatán Today recently celebrated its 32nd anniversary. We are very proud of our history, which has allowed us to accompany travelers through Yucatán for all these years. We are fortunate to have a great team and we all look forward to continuing this tradition for a long time to come.

With this edition that you are reading, we have met a big challenge at Yucatán Today: updating all of the content by creating new editorials for each destination. This goal was set for the March edition. Why? Because there are two very important events for tourism right on our doorstep: the Tianguis Turístico de México (being held in our state for the first time), followed by Semana Santa (Holy Week and Easter), a very popular vacation time, especially in México.

People from all over the world are taking notice of Yucatán, bringing more and more visitors who fall in love with its culture and its people. Many of them decide to live here, becoming new Yucatecans. Here, at Yucatán Today, we are very proud to be part of the process of falling in love, not only for those who visit, but also those who already live in our state.

With each edition that we publish, we try to show you both new places to go and new ways to visit somewhere you already know. We believe that every person who visits Yucatán, from the moment they enter our beautiful home, is already part of our story: already Yucatecan, even if only for a few days.
