The hotel features 30 spacious rooms divided in three different categories: Superior Twin, Superior King Palapa Roof and Deluxe King Plunge Pool (with comfortable king/matrimonial size beds). These beautiful bungalows were created having in mind the typical Mexican feeling and draw its inspiration from local influences, concentrating on natural materials (wood, palapa thatched roof, Maya stone) for high comfort and positive energy. Our Village Resort is a unique place where time stops so that you can fully enjoy the beautiful nature and landscape.

The Superior Twin rooms offer the excellent combination of elegance and comfort. Every single detail has been considered for your enhanced comfort. These rooms feature two matrimonial beds. Your accommodation experience is complemented with very spacious bathrooms, AC and ventilator, safe box, phone, hairdryer, minibar and coffee making facilities.

Superior King Palapa Roof:

This spacious and unique room is located at the first floor within the same building of the Superior Twin room. The room features a private terrace with a breathtaking view over the entire resort and the henequen plantation. This spectacular view together with the unique feeling of the rustic Palapa thatched roof is what makes the Superior King Palapa Roof a “one of its kind” experience. The comfortable King beds, the simplicity of the furniture and the spacious bathroom promise the comfort of your home and beyond.

Deluxe King Plunge Pool:

Set in a lush green nature, this individual stylish and private bungalow, with a typical Mexican thatched roof is the perfect room for a romantic getaway. The bedroom provides a king size bed, safe deposit box, spacious bathroom, organic bathroom toiletries, hair dryer, large terrace overlooking the private plunge pool where you can spend time cooling and sunbathing. The large windows and sliding doors leave room to the natural light to enter into your room sanctuary allowing you to enjoy an even cozier stay.

Hacienda Sotuta de Peón Restaurant:

Savory delicious culinary delights from the Mexican cuisine served in a typical Palapa by the pool. Relax and indulge with delicious dishes in the restaurant or in the Pool Bar that offers a large variety of cold and hot dishes, natural juices and regional specialties. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner with the following hours: 9 am to 5 pm.

How to reach us:

Because of its geographic location, Yucatan is a top travel destination, allowing an easy and secure arrival by sea, air and ground transportation. Arriving from Cancun and Riviera Maya, permits the visitor to easily connect with Yucatan, the World of the Maya, through a very safe highway. Merida’s International Airport is 30 minutes away. 

To arrive to Hacienda Viva Sotuta de Peon by Xperience Hotels from Playa del Carmen you need to take the highway ( the same highway for Holbox island from Av. Colosio):

• Arriving to the Highway toll station, follow the sign to Merida
• Follow the same route (you will see a road sign with Merida and Itzamal; keeping your way to Merida)
• Upon reaching Km 20, after the police block ( under the bridge) you need to make a u turn and then following direction Cancun exiting in Mayapan – Chetumal on your right hand side.
• Once on this highway, after approx. 24 km, follow the sign for Tecoh, distinguished by an arch on the right hand side of the highway.
• Enter the village of Tecoh following straight to the main square of the village. Turn right at the mini-van public station.
• Follow this road straight till you reach the village of Itzincab  (approx. 12 km)
• Follow straight for approx. 2 km until reaching the gate of the Hacienda Viva Sotuta de Peon by Xperience Hotels on your left hand side.
