Aaaaaahhhhhh…this is really heaven. Boho Spa, which opened in March of 2012, provides an oasis where you can focus on your health, beauty, and relaxation in a pristine setting. The location, in the north part of Mérida, is on a quiet residential street, in what was originally a huge private home. There are peaceful views of a large garden, yet the individual spaces for massage and facials are small and intimate. The facilities are spotlessly clean and modern.“Our clients return because of all the little details,” says Regina, one of the two spa owners. “We like to spoil them every time they come. Every single client is our most important client.”
All of the senses are invited to participate. Even the manicures and pedicures include a craneo-facial massage, applied by hands scented with cool, refreshing mint. The totally indulgent 90-minute Spa Mani-Pedi includes craneofacial massage, cutting and filing nails, cuticle treatment, feet buffing, nail polish, exfoliation, hydrating mask, and moisturizing lotion. Your hands will also receive both a massage and a glass of wine!
“Our clients live all over Mérida,” explains Regina. “Of course we have clients who live here in the north part of town, but many tourists, snowbirds, and residents of Merída´s Centro come to see us too. Foreigners especially appreciate our warm, Mexican hospitality and our high European and US standards.”
Services include mani-pedi (including Gelish if desired), facials, massages, corrective treatments, and body treatments. There are also packages for groups of girlfriends, brides, and couples. Men’s services include facials, massages, and hands and feet. Packages include cookies, chocolates, and wine.
Boho Spa also carries Murad skincare products, created by a dermatologist in 1989. There are several different product lines including Environmental Shield, Age Reform, Acne, Resurgence, Redness Therapy, Suncare, Bodycare, and a line of Men’s skincare products.
