AANY Arte a Mano

Arte a Mano is back for the fifth year with over 75 craft artists from the Yucatán Peninsula. This much-awaited event hosted by AANY is a unique opportunity to fulfill your gift-buying and collecting needs and desires for the year! There will be many familiar faces with new work and 15 participants presenting work for the first time. There will be a combination of studio artwork and fine traditional work in all media, with very reasonable prices. A special emphasis will be placed on craft art made from recycled materials. Many of the artists will accept credit cards. Food service will be provided by Restaurante Guerra. It is recommended that you go to AANY.ORG or MERIDAANY AC on Facebook for further information.

AANY (Amigos de Artistas/Artesanos Nuevos de Yucatán) AC is a Mexican non-profit run by volunteers. In an effort to offset the ever-increasing expenses of the shows, there will be a GREAT ESCAPES RAFFLE offering winners a 2-night stay for two at five luxury hotels and haciendas. Tickets can be bought at the Merida English Library, from committee members, and of course at the show. The draw will be at 5 pm on Sunday, December 1^st at Arte a Mano. Entrance to the show is free but donations are gratefully accepted at the door.
