Monday

Welcome to Yucatán. Stay at Hotel Casa San Ángel and get to the Centro Histórico for the free bilingual tour that begins at 9:30 am. At night, experience an authentic Yucatecan tradition with the Vaquería at Palacio Municipal.

Tuesday

Discover the easternmost part of the state by traveling to El Cuyo. You can either leave early and make the most of your day on the beach or take on a more relaxed pace with stops in Motul and Tizimín to explore and stretch your legs.

Wednesday

Choose between a day on the beach, kayaking, and kitesurfing, or head to Las Coloradas to see its pink lagoons and maybe even some flamingos. On your way back to Mérida, take a detour to San Felipe and try the food at El Popular Vaselina.

Thursday

Discover a different side of Mérida by visiting The Harbor mall; enjoy the family-friendly activities offered at its lagoon, such as the zip line and remote-controlled boats, then pamper yourself with the fusion of flavors at Maya de Asia.

Friday

Visit the Mayapán archaeological site, and then go swimming, snorkeling, or diving in the spectacular cenote Noh Mozón (jumping off the platform is optional). Back in Mérida, enjoy an authentic Yucatecan dinner with Panuchos and Salbutes at Parque de Santiago.

Saturday

Experience a different kind of day at Salón Gallos, which, in addition to being a restaurant (Yucatecan-Lebanese fusion), is a cinema house, wine bar, and art gallery. If a single destination isn’t enough, you can end the night at the newly reopened La Fundación Mezcalería.

Sunday

Although Paseo de Montejo is now accessible to bicycles every day, The Biciruta on Sunday is a good opportunity to explore its monuments and have a snack. For lunch, make the most of the season and try the Chiles en Nogada at the Fiesta Americana hotel.
