We are off to visit the Convent Route today, where you will see unique villages, full of color and history, cenotes and archaeology. You’ll also adore the gastronomy that you’ll find at the different stops. The last town on the route is the most important one, do you know which one it is?
Take the free guided tour at 9:30 am, departing from Palacio Municipal in Plaza Grande. After the tour, walk around the Centro streets. Remember that at 9 pm you can watch the Yucatecan Serenata in Santa Lucía park.
A “must” stop in Yucatán is Izamal, go to the convent, the artisan workshops, the stores, and of course try a delicious Yucatecan lunch. Back in Mérida have a unique evening on the terrace of Picheta, overlooking the Cathedral.
In the morning do some shopping at “Mérida en Domingo” in the Plaza Grande. End your last day in Mérida with a truly spectacular meal at MUGY.
