Casa de los Espejos
El diseño y ambiente único de Casa de Los Espejos refleja la historia colonial de Mérida y al mismo tiempo la modernidad del presente. Con una fachada tradicional, mosaicos de pasta, pisos de cemento tratado y acabados en piedra, viva en armonía con aparatos eléctricos y muebles modernos, asi como limplias líneas de diseño arquitectónico. Todo esto se une para crear una casa en renta que no sólo es bella para admirar sino también confortable para estar... a tan sólo unos paso del Paseo de Montejo, plaza grande y todos los atractivos del centro histórico de Mérida.
Casa de Los Espejos es ideal para cuatro personas... y quizá una mas en el cuarto de TV. Un cuarto es una suite en la planta baja con un closet vestidor y baño privado con patio interior. El segundo cuarto esta en la planta alta con un closet grande y una regadera interior/exterior. El cuarto de TV esta en la planta baja y tiene una pequeña cama y medio baño, se comunica con el patio comedor con una fuente moderna. No deje de vistar nuestra galería de fotos.
Casa de Los Espejos gano el premio en la Bienal de Arquitectura en Yucatán en el 2007 y se publicó en el ARCHITECTURAL DIGEST MEXICO en junio del 2007. Los arquitectos han sido nominados nuevamente en el ARCHITECTURAL DIGEST MEXICO en la categoria de diseño y fotos de esta casa fueron publicadas en la edición de febrero del 2009.

We spent Christmas week in this wonderful home that far surpassed our expectations. Its location was ideal: right in the historic centre but on a street with little traffic and less noise. The house itself is quite spectacular and aesthetically quite delightful. It is a perfect example of a renovated colonial home that is authentic and at the same time is calibrated to 21st Century expectations and standards. There is a real sense of space and light throughout and the attention to detail is quite extraordinary. The upper level master suite is luxurious and comfortable with a wonderful terrace and an enclosed sitting room. We really appreciated arriving to find the house full of flowers; the fridge stocked with mineral water and orange juice, and the bathrooms provided with the finest soaps and thick Turkish towels. The property manager, Yesenia, was unfailingly helpful and courteous. We can't wait to return to Merida and we wouldn't dream of staying anywhere but Casa de los Espejos. A truly unique experience!
