Na' Lu'um is a magical place situated in the heart of the Mundo Maya, where visitors will have a relaxing stay, full of peace and tranquility. The word "Na' Lu'um" is Maya for Mother Earth (Ná means mother, Lu'um means earth). Humans need contact with nature in order to be balanced. Na' Lu'um provides a reconciliation of humans with nature, to be able to coexist with Mother Earth and to express appreciation for giving us the opportunity to enjoy her beauty.

Na' Lu'um is an eco-touristic boutique hotel, in a very special category; a unique smoke-free eco-resort whose main focus is relaxation, health, and rest. It is located enroute to Cancun, exiting at the highway to Chetumal, at km. 22.9 shortly before the archaeological zone of Mayapan. It contains a restaurant specializing in contemporary Yucatecan regional cuisine.

The creative chef creates his dishes from a fusion of ingredients from local recipes and international ones. Some of the appealing (and reasonably priced) menu items include: crab empanadas, jícama and citrus fruit salad, Xtabentun prawns, fish with kiwi sauce, Mayan beef steak, and chicken in apple cider. Credit cards are accepted, and the restaurant is open from 8 am to 8 pm.

The accommodation consists of 10 cabañas, built in the design of the Mayan house with high roofs, fin ished in clay and wood, making them nice and cool. Seven standard cabañas have two double beds and three are special, with a queen size bed and hammock. They offer comfortable spaces, modern amenities, and screens on all the doors and windows. Each cabaña has an exterior terrace with seating area. Services include personal safety box, room service, and free parking, plus many more options for your comfort. The hotel has a lovely pool, spacious gardens, and a multi-use space for up to 40 people, for celebrations, meetings, or other events. Room rates range from 1350 pesos to 1800 pesos per night, and may include American breakfast and/or Temazcal. Ask about the different rates.

The Temazcal bath is a ceremony based on the purification of the body, mind and spirit, used by the Aztecs and then later by the Mayas, popular for its therapeutic, medicinal, and spiritual powers. It is conducted by a guide, involving mystical elements such as music, prayer, and aromatic and/or medicinal herbs. During this ceremony the body heats and sweats, the heart and breathing rates increase, the medicinal essences are inhaled, and the mind and body relax. This is believed to trigger benefits such as the elimination of toxins, prevention of illnesses, renewal of the skin, increase of blood flow, and improvement in the intestinal and respiratory functions. It also stimulates relaxation, introspection, reflection, full attention, and even a vast perception of the passing of time. Na' Lu'um offers various Temazcal packages and adheres to strict health and hygiene guidelines. Packages range from 450 pesos to 1000 pesos per person with a minimum of participants and previous reservation. Only available on Saturdays.
