How Yucatan Treats Its Animals

I have veered from one end of the spectrum in terms of emotions to the other - let me tell you more... As 3 month visitors from chilly Britain, we gamely and quite willingly adopted a stray beach dog, naming her Sandy, who flourished and grew rapidly, unbelieveably so until we realised she was 'with child'The weeks rolled on and panic set in, who would look after Sandy once we'd departed? Cue a rapid succession of emails, research on the net and then an angel in the making came to my rescue, Juanita, editor of this very media brand was instrumental in shining a light with a number of possibilities sent via email. I got on the trail & exhausted every option until a 'yes' appeared. Sandy shall now be collected & cared for in a few days.... tears at the gate then.. Rachel
