The place for the original library, the house now owned by Ellie G, was previously owned by an interesting man named Bill Ebbetts, a retiree, photographer and avid reader. Bill willed his house to the library and when he died, that's where MEL went. Later on, Marilyn willed her larger home up the street to the library, and they moved.
