I had the wonderful opportunity to live in Merida for several years. As a "temporary transplant" to a completly different culture, the people of Yucatan are the most gracious and hospitable you will find. It was one of the most exciting and enjoyable times of my life. I would recommend Merida and the Yucatan Peninsula for a family adventure to all.
