A picture speaks 1,000 words and The Lodge at Uxmal says a lot. First off, access to the ancient Uxmal pyramids from The Lodge at Uxmal could not be better. Just 30 meters from the entrance to the site, you will find The Lodge to be a special place. Nestled in the jungle and around two pools, 40 spacious rooms and suites are distributed among five, two-story villas built using tropical woods and materials native to the region. Each room is tastefully decorated with aged mahogany woods, Mexican tiles and ceramics, stained glass windows of the local fauna and intricately carved doors with Mayan motifs. Each room also has a balcony with rocking chairs and traditional Mayan hammocks.
