Located along the famous avenue Prolongación Paseo de Montejo, the recently renewed Hotel Maya Kin-Uh (Sun and Moon in Maya) owned by a young friendly Dutch-Mexican couple, provides a comfortable place and atmosphere to stay.
Hotel Maya Kin-uh is a perfect place to either relax at the fresh swimmingpool and bar at the shadowy patio or explore the colonial Mérida and the ancient and natural wonders of the beautiful Mayan World and Mexican Caribbean.
We offer free spanish clases, breakfast & laundry service, a shared (openair) kitchen, personal multilingual tourist information, economic car & transportation services, various daytrips, movie nights, our weekly dinner and language exchange evenings and much more! We offer both 6 private rooms with double or kingsize beds and private bathroom and a 1 shared room with 5 individual beds (dorm). All the rooms, with a Mayan touch, are clean and comfortable and all equipped with a private bathroom, 24hours hot shower, big closet, airconditioning, fan, tv, wireless internet and clean sheets and towels.
Hotel Kin-uh is situated a few blocks North of the city centre along the famous avenue "Prolongación de la Montejo" with a lot of bars, nightclubs and restaurants at walking distance. Also interesting spots as the magical archaeological site Dzibilchaltún and the beach Progreso are very easy to reach.

a wonderful experience
I have spent 20 days to the kin-uh, and going away, it is seemed me to go away from house.. in this hostel that that more it strikes you it is the marvelous reception and gentleness of the young owner israel and of miguel, timid and sweet do-all , without forgetting ceiba adorable pup of amusing labrador. I must say that I am really immediately felt to house, the atmosphere is unique, friendly and relaxed. the rooms are very great and cleaning up, and the very reasonable price considering that there is also a good connection wi-fi. israel organizes with enthusiasm a lot of activities as I raced free of language or excursions of group. I will surely return rather there!
