Nothing matches the splendor of Uxmal, one of the grandest Mayan archeological sites in the area, just minutes to the northwest of us.

Our charming b&b boutique hotel accommodation is a private retreat perfectly situated in the heart of the PUUC route.  Art from the corners of Mexico: come enjoy our small collection of treasures we have collected during 20 years travel in Mexico.

We are located in the small village of Santa Elena, just 10 minutes from Uxmal, on the Yucatan Peninsula, Mexico.  Directly to the south are three smaller sites of Kabah, Sayil, and Labna, along with a new cacao plantation and Eco-museum.

Easy day trips bring you to cave systems, convent towns, cenotes, old haciendas and market towns, with good regional restaurants along the way.  Plan on spending a few days to see it all and enjoy the diversity and culture of the Yucatan countryside.

Join us for a leisurely stay at the Flycatcher Inn Uxmal hotel accommodation and meet some of today's Mayan people: owner Santiago and staff all still speak Mayan language, as well as Spanish.  Walk the grounds or explore some of our 15 acres, most left as a small sanctuary for wildlife among the relics of the ancient Maya.

Rated #1 on Tripadvisor for Uxmal hotels.
